Reaction Paper on the Deconstruction of Thank You M'am

This work was such a good choice for each and every one of us to read. The readers will surely have a great time reading this work. There are many situations that really happen in real life. As I read the first part of this work, I was eager to continue reading because the characters were interesting. This work develops the readers to build trust within themselves because you cannot trust other people around you if you don’t trust yourself. Each day we face, everything can never happen the same place twice. It means, this work is not always happening in our society nowadays. Can you imagine? Your purse is supposed to be stolen by a boy, whom you didn’t know. You should be mad of what he did. But this didn’t happen to Mrs. Jones. I salute her for that. She made the boy a trustworthy person. She changed Roger’s perspective to life, and Roger should be grateful for it. She also teaches Roger from right to wrong. I really like the work because it gives us a good lesson in each of the situation. We must learn to trust each other in order to build proper communication. Also, we don’t need to be wealthy, to help people. We just need to be understanding. We must consider some things that are meant to be considered.
When Mrs. Jones caught Roger and held his neck in her arms, i really expected that, because Roger intended to steal her large purse. Of course, Mrs. Jones gets mad about it. But when Mrs. Jones led him to her room, I was surprised when she let Roger washed his face in the sink and let him fix him in a good way. When Roger also asked the large woman if she would take her to the jail, Mrs. Jones just replied, “Not with that face, I would not take you anywhere,” I feel anger when she held Roger in her arms so that he can’t escape from Mrs. Jones. Even if what I feel was not reasonable, but Roger too, has rights, he is also a child, a child with rights. A right to explain or hear from his part. I feel such delight when the problem is already fixed in a good way. They knew a little from each other, but not so confidential, because Mrs. Jones is not after with where he lived, where are his parents, grandparents, or even relatives. She just simply asked Roger if what his reason of attempting to steal her purse is. Roger also answered in a lonely tone, that he wants to buy a blue suede shoes for himself. After hearing those words from the boy, Mrs. Jones told Roger that he doesn’t need to snatch her large purse. He could have asked the large woman money to buy those blue suede shoes.
This material really relates to my own life experience. When someone texted me, and the number is unknown, it means, it is not saved in my cell phone’s contacts. I learn to trust that this person who texted me, also trust me. Both of us needed to build trust with each other so that we could have a proper communication with each other. We need to trust each other so that there would be no queries if something bad would be discovered. Some of us find contentment and hope every time we trust. To trust a person, is also letting them trust you the way you trust them. We must live each day with trust in ourselves, trust in all of the people around us, and the most of all!, Our great trust to our Heavenly Father.
